About Brewster Peninsula Nature Trails
The Brewster Peninsula Nature Trails is a very easy flat hike around the lake located in the Saranac Lakes Wild Forest. It contains four trails including Corridor, Boundary, Ridge, and Lakeshore. These trails are great not only for hiking but also for running, snowshoeing, skiing, mountain biking, and fishing.
Our Impressions
After a very exhausting hike up Mt. Marcy and a fairly strenuous shorter hike up Cascade Mountain the day before, we could barely get ourselves out of bed. Every muscle in our body was aching and the thought of putting on hiking boots was unbearable. Instead of putting on our boots, we decided to give our feet a rest and explore Lake Placid in our sneakers.
During our Lake Placid explorations, we stumbled upon and beautiful easy hike with gorgeous lake views. We walked then rested a lot and enjoyed the beautiful scenery.
